320 billion emails are expected to be sent out globally in 2021, according to Campaign Monitor. Far from being overtaken by other forms of digital marketing, emails have held their own as a powerful tool for reaching targeted audiences and generating traction and response.

Given the importance of email campaigns in most companies’ marketing communication plans, DesignStreet has developed a strong set of skills that sees us creating eDM campaigns on a daily basis for major customers like American Express.

Our process includes carefully crafted copy that has become a hallmark of our business. We write precision copy that is tight, honed, and engaging to readers. This includes the subject lines, which are a key reason for the extremely high open rates that we generate – up to 60% in some campaigns

The design comes next, with layout, the use of imagery and graphics and the overall visual appeal being decisive. The banner headers and headlines do a lot of the work, with the content laid out logically, and with icons, call out boxes and images used to break things up and create interest and readability.

Finally, our coding specialists take over to translate the eDMs into HTML for delivery in a range of CRM systems. We test extensively to ensure compatibility with a range of email systems and with special emphasis on mobile responsive design.
